TERIA celebrates the first anniversary of the PYX at INTERGEO 2022
The INTERGEO trade fair was held on 18, 19 and 20 October 2022 in Essen, Germany. Once again, the TERIA team was present at this key event. It was another opportunity to meet international customers and partners and discuss innovations and future projects.
INTERGEO, a not-to-be-missed event
INTERGEO is the leading platform for the geospatial community. It is an international meeting point for the key players in geodesy, geomatics and land management. The trade show attracts decision-makers, promoters, distributors, buyers and public and private service providers.
Once again this year, our team was present alongside our partners SEPTENTRIO, a GNSS chip supplier , Aplitop, a software developer dedicated to the use of satellite data, and GeoSLAM , the market leader in mobile digitisation. This international partnership is one of the reasons for the success of TERIA’s new product.
Who is Septentrio?
SEPTENTRIO is a world-renowned leader in the design and manufacture of GNSS satellite positioning systems, with cutting-edge expertise in the development of high-performance GNSS chips and system boards. Based in Belgium, the company has established itself as a key player in the sector thanks to the quality, precision and reliability of its equipment. Their advanced technology makes SEPTENTRIO a partner of choice for companies seeking to develop innovative solutions in the field of satellite positioning.
This is why TERIA has chosen to work with SEPTENTRIO on the design of a new GNSS receiver. After rigorous, in-depth testing, TERIA decided to integrate the latest-generation GNSS chip, the MOSAIC X5, into the heart of its PYX receiver, a device entirely designed and manufactured in France. This partnership is based on the shared desire of the two companies to offer an extremely accurate and reliable positioning solution that meets the needs of professionals in demanding sectors such as topography, cartography and precision agriculture.
TERIA x SEPTENTRIO: a strategic partnership
Yann ROUSSEL, Sales Director for the EMEA region at SEPTENTRIO, and Paul CHAMBON, Technical Director at TERIA, were interviewed to discuss this strategic partnership. They highlighted the unique features of the MOSAIC X5 chip, which is distinguished by its ability to process multiple GNSS constellations simultaneously, guaranteeing greater accuracy and robustness in harsh environments.
They also explained how the integration of this technology into the PYX receiver makes it possible to offer a made-in-France solution capable of competing with the best equipment on the international market in terms of performance, reliability and durability.
“The Septentrio technology embedded in the PYX enables it to respond to all severe GNSS constraints, such as urban environments or canyons, heavily wooded areas, etc. Its resistance to multipath and its combination with the TERIA network provide a very high level of performance”
“The MOSAIC X5 module is a very small, triple-frequency GNSS module incorporating all Septentrio technology (AIM, LOCK, etc.). Its high performance and low power consumption make it easy to integrate into TERIA’s PYX receiver.”
A successful birthday for PYX
INTERGEO is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the first anniversary of the PYX. In September 2021, in Hanover, visitors discovered this revolutionary GNSS solution for the first time. Many were seduced by this new product: a lightweight, elegant device with exceptional technical performance.
The dazzling success of this launch was not long in coming. The quality and efficiency of the PYX quickly won over many users, prompting several distributors to offer this Made in France solution worldwide. What makes the difference? Innovative design, optimum performance in all circumstances, and a complete package that includes personalised support from TERIA’s technical teams.
This tailor-made approach, which meets the specific needs of each professional, attracts new fans every day, contributing to the rapid expansion of the PYX community.
The growing enthusiasm surrounding this solution confirms the soundness of TERIA’s strategic choices, consolidating its position as leader in the field of geolocation.
