The 6th French Ski Cup for Surveyors with TERIA

As a long-standing partner of the Ordre des Géomètres-Experts, TERIA co-organised this 6th ski competition alongside PUBLITOPEX and GEOFONCIER. The event began with a ‘studious’ day, during which the Géomètres-Experts attended a workshop on the functionalities of the Géofoncier platform and practical case studies.

For TERIA, the morning was devoted to importing GEOFONCIER data into the PYX solution using Aplitop’s TcpGPS software. Jean BERTERRECHE then presented the initial thoughts on data qualification, a major project for TERIA and the profession.

The next day, it was time for the ski competition. After a convivial breakfast, the participants enjoyed a few runs under a radiant sky before the start of the race. This year, Romain MARI, a member of the French ski cross team and Team TERIA, honoured the event with his presence by opening the competition.

From 10.30am, 80 skiers competed in two consecutive heats. The children were the first to hit the slopes, followed by the adults, in perfect snow and bright sunshine. After a few crashes during the second run, the competition ended with an aperitif and lunch, giving participants the opportunity to chat with Romain MARI. The prize-giving ceremony, held the same evening, crowned this 6th edition with cups, gifts and trophies.
